Somewhere over the Rainbow
We watched one of my
favourite types of programme
tonight. I am rubbish when it
comes to property issues, but do
enjoy seeing people looking over
places and imagining what it must
be like - the moving, new experiences,
opportunities - exciting stuff.
Most of all I like the foreign property
shows. We are both beginning to
think that it would be a nice idea
to live abroad for a while, (well
more that Cathy is catching up
with me). It was a series of things
that brought us to this point, the
dark winters, growing unrest, people
seem to have the time for each
other and themselves, all sorts really.
We are not ignorant of the equivalent
pressures one can face abroad, we
have friends who have lived in two
different countries, though there is only
one way to truly "know" and that's to
experience it.
